Meet our beautiful goats! We have registered and grade Nubian goats. All our soaps and lotions are made using milk from our goats. We pride ourselves in providing the girls with the best care possible, and in return they supply us with the milk we need not only to make our products but also to drink. Please take some time to meet our wonderful girls! We will occasionally have kids available to approved homes.
Bambi
Bambi is the matriarch of our herd. The girl we have had the longest, she patiently put up with my mistakes while learning to milk. She is a grade Nubian/Saanen cross. She absolutely loves scratches and laying her head on your shoulder. She is now 6 years old and in the next couple years will be retired. She will spend the rest of her life here at the farm, living in luxury.
Sunrising Bell Vega
Vega is a purebred ADGA Nubian. She is an in your pocket goat, will follow you around the pasture, nosing into whatever you have and chew on your shoes. The moment she sees someone she will let them know she is there and wants attention. She loves to smile for pictures.
Rustic Edge Petunia
Petunia is Bambi’s 2016 doeling, ADGA registered. She is a very special girl and she knows it. She was born May 15 (my birthday) and has a pattern that I have been wanting but never expected to get from Bambi. At just a month old she broke her leg and we weren’t sure if she would make it. After 3 months of splinting and k-laser her leg healed! This girl gets herself into all kinds of trouble and tries to give me a heart attack at least once a week.
Sunrising Sham Marashka Chuka
Marshmella is an ADGA registered Nubian doe. She comes from some heavy milking lines and we are excited to see what she can produce. She is a very sweet and loving girl that will follow you wherever you go. She and Vega have become best friends and are inseparable.
Rustic Edge Clover
Clover is an ADGA registered Nubian doe. She comes from some good milking lines. She is a very personable goat and is the last daughter of a doe that we lost.
Sunrising Magnolia
Chocolate Chip is an ADGA registered Nubian doe. She is one of Marshmella’s kids from 2017. She is the sweetest girl, she is always right there when we are out in the pasture. She loves to nibble fingers and clothes. We can’t wait to see what she produces with Arrow.
Pine-Springs Crooked Arrow
Arrow is our ADGA registered Nubian Buck. He has lovely bloodlines and a great personality. His color is just the icing on the cake! He has already produced some amazing kids with Marshmella and Petunia and we are excited to see what he continues to produce.
Cassie
Cassie is our Great Pyrenees/ Anatolian cross, she is the livestock guardian for our goats. She is worth her weight in gold and will alert us to any predator that she smells or sees. Not only does she protect her goats she is also very protective over our children. Occasionally she will take a stroll with us around the farm, but after a bit will go back to her goats.
